They are different from others- These boots are a bit
dressier than other styles that I have. There is more
support than in the traditional, short style. I bought them
because there is excellent traction on the sole of the shoe.
Since I am recuperating from a broken ankle, I wanted a boot
that would protect me from falls in the winter ice and snow.
In hindsight, I think I would have bought the taller version
because the boot would have really looked great with my full
length winter coat. These look great with pants.
The coziest boots ever. Oh how I love these boots. They are
absolutely the warmest thing ever- and I have the coldest
feet on the planet. I live in Sunny So Cal, so I thought,
how could I possibly need such warm boots? But they plagued
my thoughts until I ordered... so glad I did. Really snug
without socks and great in rain and snow. If I lived in a
SLIGHTLY colder clime, I'd order the tall ones, too. But
somehow our lack of snow keeps me grounded in reality. I
wear a 71/2 and ordered a 7 and they fit great- even enough
room for a big pair of socks if need be.

Carol's Review: My husband gave me a pair of boots two years
ago and I loved them from that moment. I hated waiting for
transportation and my feet were the first thing to get cold.
I never worried about my feet being cold again. The boots
are super warm and I have worn them without socks in the
snow. I notice my daughter did not have a warm pair of boots
(she is grown) and I told my husband we should get her a
pair for Christmas and we did. I have told so many people
about this boot. They look good, there is plenty of room in
the boot, and they last for a long time and clean up very
well. I can't say enough about the boots. Now that I saw my
daughter's boots I am thinking of ordering another pair for
A style for grownups, This is a nice, comfortable, warm, and
safe on the ice boot that looks classy and not faddish under
jeans or pants. I tried the tall boots also but the regular
height is best with pants. They are quite flat though, but
fortunately an orthotic insole fits really well under the
sheepskin insole that the boots come with. I wear socks in
the winter so it seemed like a pain to take my socks off to
put on my boots. So I didn't and it works well for me. Also,
the boots have got to stay nicer longer with socks. With
insoles added, these are perfect boots. I will wear my LL
Bean lace up boots for playing in deep snow, but for
everything else, these are the boots.
